Welcome to our website where we are taking a look at every kit the English national team have worn, whether it be white, red, blue or even yellow and we are just talking outfield players. The kits have been manufacturerd by current "tailors" Umbro, Bukta and Admiral, we'll take a look at each individually and with your help find the best and worst that England have worn.

The new England away kit was launched in March 1996 and made only three appearances. The first wearing of the kit came during a 1-0 friendly victory over Bulgaria at Wembley. The shirt was retired after England’s 2-0 victory in the away World Cup qualifier to Georgia. 1997 Away - Launched 10 June 19971997 Away – Launched 10 June 1997

The new England away kit was launched in June 1997 and made its first appearance during the 1-0 defeat to Brazil in a friendly tournament. The shirt was retired two years later in June 2009 as England drew 0-0 with Sweden in a Euro 2000 qualifying match.

1997 Home - Launched 12 February 19971997 Home – Launched 12 February 1997

The new England home kit was launched in March 1997 and made its debut in the 1-0 World Cup qualification defeat to Italy at Wembley in February 1997. The kit made it’s final appearance in a 2-0 friendly defeat to France at Wembley. An adaption of the kit was worn during the 1998 World Cup.

1998 Home – Launched 15 June 1998

The new England away kit for the 1998 World Cup was launched in June 1998 and made three appearances during the World Cup in games against Tunisia, Romania and Argentina. The shirt was retired after England’s 1998 World Cup Campaign.

The new England away kit for the 1998 World Cup was launched in June 1998 and made its only appearance during the 2-0 victory in England’s opening World Cup game against Columbia. The shirt was retired after England’s 1998 World Cup Campaign.

1999 Away – Launched 10 October 1999

The new England away kit was launched in October 1999 and made its debut in the 2-1 victory against Belgium in a friendly at the Stadium of Light. The kit was retired following a 2-1 victory against Finland at Anfield in March 2001 during the 2002 World Cup qualifiers. The kit was worn seven times overall with six [...]




2001 Home – Launched 28 Feburary 2001

The new England home kit was launched in February 2001 and made its debut in the 3-0 friendly victory over Spain in what was Sven Goran Erikkson’s first game in charge. 2002 Away – Launched 27 March 2002

The new England away kit was launched in March 2002 and made its debut in the home friendly defeat against Italy at Elland Road. The kit made its final appearance 11 months later in the disappointing and 3-1 home friendly defeat to Australia.

The new England home kit was launched in March 2003 and made its debut in the away European Championship qualifying match against Liechtenstein in 2003.

2004 Away – Launched 31 March 2004

The new England away kit was launched in March 2004 and made its debut in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Sweden. The kit made its last appearance around 11 months later in a 0-0 goalless draw with Holland at Villa Park.
